Gail Patricia Carston Grimwood 87 of Slidell Louisiana passed away on Sunday March 29 2026 in Slidell. Gail was born September 27 1938 in Astoria New York to Clifford and Grace Carston. In 1959 she married Charles Grimwood in Seaford New York. The couple moved to New Jersey for a while before going to New Orleans and then to Slidell in the mid 1970s. Gails love of life was the joy of raising her family. Gail was preceded in death by her husband Charles Grimwood and a daughter Laura Lee Grimwood Taylor. She is survived by a daughter Nancy Grimwood Gonzalez Mark three grandchildren Christopher Charles Grimwood Rancy Jacob Taylor Taryn Taylor one greatgrandchild Rancy Ross Taylor brother Peter Carston sister Karen Carston Sheehan nieces nephews and other relatives.
