Mrs. Linda Faye Lewis Kirkwood, 71, of Elmer, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted military wife and a faithful caregiver to her husband. She was also an avid horsewoman who found great joy in horses. Above all, she loved the Lord. Washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, she now rests safely in Heaven. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her parents, John William Lewis, Sr. and Etta Lewis; and one brother, John William Lewis, Jr.Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of forty-seven years, James Paul Kirkwood of Elmer; one sister, Judy McLemore (Jack) of Baton Rouge; one nephew, Jay Coleman of Baton Rouge; and one niece, Angela Gervais…
