Tommy L. Landry passed away on Friday February 13 2026 at the Baton Rouge General on Bluebonnet at the age of 67. He was native and lifelong resident of Port Allen. Tommy was a retired millwright from Cargill. After retiring he went on to work at several different places such as Southern Packaging and then parttime at Port Allen Tire and Service. A memorial service will be held on Friday February 20th at Faith Baptist Church 4060 Richfield Drive Livonia from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. conducted Rev. Freddie Rodrigue. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Dusty Aguillard Josh Millien Liam Landry Gregory Landry Tyler Quatrevingt and Dustin Hedges. Helen "Janie" Landry

Helen "Janie" Landry passed away at her home in Walker LA on Sunday February 8th 2026 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by parents George Landy Sr. and Bessie Berthelot Landry and brother George Jr. Janie is survived by her sons Joey Sharon wife Monica Jeffrey Sharon wife Michelle and Steve Sharon wife Melody daughter Joanie Sharon five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Janie enjoyed reading traveling and loved living in Colorado for 10 years before returning to Walker LA a few years ago. Janes wish was to donate her body for scientific research and we carried out that wish for her. In lieu of flowers we ask that memorial donations be made to the United Way Literacy Program in support of her love for reading. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Ellis Gauthier
Port Allen, Louisiana
Ellis James Gauthier 88 of Port Allen La. passed away on Friday Feb. 13 2026 after a yearslong battle with leukemia. Ellis was born on Oct. 20th 1937 to Clarence and Nell Gauthier in Erwinville La. After graduating from Port Allen High School in 1955 he went on to study education at LSU. After graduation Ellis was employed by the East Baton Rouge Parish School System where he worked as a teacher and administrator for 37 years. He finished his career as Assistant Principal at Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge working with multiple generations of students and their families. He also enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve serving his country as a Sergeant First Class. While he was a student at Port Allen High School Ellis met Jo Ann Blanchard and they married in 1960.
