Shirley Ann Smith, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully August 6, 2026. Born in Cushing, Oklahoma, July 27, 1949, she was the cherished daughter of Peter and Grace Smith.Shirley possessed a deep love for travel that shaped much of her life. She spent many vibrant years living across California and Arizona before ultimately returning to her roots in Maine. There, she found happiness in experiencing all four distinct seasons, embracing the natural beauty of the region, and enjoying close proximity to her family.She leaves behind a lasting memories of love, and is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica Spaulding of Henderson, NV; her three sisters, Pearl Smith of Linneus, Maine, Grace Hafford of Hodgton, Maine, and Linda Polches of Princeton, Maine; alongside a large and loving circle of nieces, nephews, and cousins.Shirley was reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Peter and Grace; five of her siblings;…
