Peggy Sue Cromwell Averill born April 28 1963 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday August 11 2026 while doing what she loved where she loved with the man she loved. Peg daughter of Frank and Phoebe Greenleaf Cromwell was an "Island Girl" who cherished her amazing childhood on Westport Island growing up with her sister Elaine two brothers Timothy and Larry and countless cousins with priceless memories she held close to her heart. Peg attended Wiscasset Schools where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life Wayne Averill. After attending college in Florida to become a travel agent Peg and Wayne built their home in Alna and married October 6 1984. In 1987 they welcomed their daughter Audrey and in 1990 son Sumner. Woolwich David H. Morton 65 passed away on Monday August 3 2026 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born in Lynn Massachusetts on September 3 1960 a son of Nelson Morton and Geraldine LaClair Braun. David graduated from Morse High School in Bath in 1979. He was employed at his familys business General Auto Supply on Congress Avenue in Bath. He became a certified mechanic and was manager of Midas in Brunswick and Portland. In 1993 he graduated from Northeast Trucking School. On December 24 1993 he married April Barrett. He began his truck driving career and was employed by CCC and PAF.
