Doris Josephine Fitzgerald 92 of Eldersburg died Wednesday February 11 2026 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born August 22 1933 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Walter Edward Smith and Elsie Wheeler Smith. She was the widow of Norris Fitzgerald Sr. They had been married for over 50 years. Doris had worked several jobs during her life. She had worked in the returns department on the sixth floor of the Montgomery Wards Building. She had also worked at Bromo Seltzer and Oriole Paper Box. She had enjoyed working at all these places. She also loved to watch cowboy movies and the Hallmark Network. She also loved Christmas doing word search puzzles and coffee cookies and sweets. Doris is survived by two sons Norris Fitzgerald Jr. and wife Deborah.
