Dennis P. Monahan of East Dennis MA passed away on Saturday August 15 2026 at the age of 66. Known affectionately as Denno he was born to William and Mary Monahan in Braintree MA on March 4 1960. Dennis was a fixture of Sesuit Neck and the MidCape community working at the Hyannis Marina for nearly 40 years. Early on he was a certified commercial diver working all over the northeast. Dennis was a kind soul with a trademark laugh and smile. Most Notably Dennis was a fighter. After beating cancer several times he completed seven PanMass Challenge rides multiple Boston Marathons and Falmouth Road Races. He was an enthusiastic Red Sox Bruins and Patriots fan. Dennis leaves behind a large loving family including his siblings Theresa Kathleen William and Andrea and their spouses as well as dozens of nieces nephews his beloved dog Huck and his Hyannis Marina extended…

Eastham MA Ralph M. Younie 89 of North Eastham Mass passed away August 16th 2026 surrounded by family due to complications of Dementia. Ralph was born on December 14th 1936 to Walter S. and Isabelle Sanderson in Quincy MA. He attended Quincy Public Schools and played hockey for Quincy High School and is in the Quincy High Hockey Hall of Fame. He also coached youth hockey. He graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1960 with a BS in education majoring in Industrial Arts. He later went on to earn a masters degree in guidance from Bridgewater State College. He started his teaching career at the Army Base schools in Germany and France. He returned to teach in Seattle WA and Holbrook MA. Raised in the greater Worcester area of Massachusetts Stephen made homes with his family in Tyngsboro and Dennis MA. Stephen built his career as an entrepreneur running his own company and later as an equipment engineer however he would say his greatest accomplishment was retiring early afforded to him by savvy investments in the stock market. This allowed Stephen to fully immerse himself into many hobbies. Through his 30 years of scuba diving aiding in winter turtle rescues and road trips up and down the coast he was able to get an appreciation of Cape Cod life very few people experience. His other hobbies included organic gardening fishing beach walking for treasure joy rides on the boat with his family following the political climate and traveling with his bride to Georgia Florida Hawaii and the Caribbean to escape the cold New England winters.
