Marian Louise UlmanAge 96, of Tawas City, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026. She was born on March 18, 1930 in Detroit, MI to the late Andrew and Georgine (Black) Klinger. She graduated from Tawas City High School in 1948. She married Albert “Sparky” Ulman on October 14, 1950 in Tawas City, MI. They had five children: Susan (Anschuetz), Marcia, Andrew (Patty Irwin), Todd, and Benjamin. Marian is survived by her sons, Andrew and Benjamin. In addition to being a homemaker, Marian worked various retail jobs in Tawas, including at Miller Shoes and Northern Lights Photography, which led her to start her custom framing business, Crest O’Hill Framing. Marian also volunteered with the hospice program at Tawas St. Joseph’s Hospital. Marian served with pride within the Iosco County Commission in the late 1970s through 1980. Elizabeth Jo Kane Glanton (better known as Lizard) was born on March 29, 1985 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Gail Katherine (Mejeur) Kane and Archibald Van Renssaeler Kane III. She is survived by her husband, Courtney Cassevetts Glanton, her children, Courtney Cassevetts Jr., Adrianna Rose, Emory Archibald, and stepson, Justin Cassevetts Walker. She is also survived by her mother, Gail Kane, her sister Emily Kent (LaGuardia) Kane (David), Courtney's parents Cass and Sandra Wilson, and his sisters Candice Glanton, Cassie Wilson, Chanice Wilson, and CharLay Hopkins (Vince).Liz was loved and supported by her extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her many close friends.Elizabeth moved to AuGres with her family in 1995.
