
Richard Norman Ritter

Richard was a veteran of the Korean war and later worked at Chrysler and served as a proud officer at the Gladwin County Sheriffs office. He is survived by his son Alan Ruth Kooiker Ritter and step sons Jerome "Jerry" of Gulfport Mississippi and Jeff Wendy Sibley of Blountville Tennessee seven grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. Richard enjoyed wood crafts and working in his yard. He set up an annual veterans memorial with flags and his wood creations along the road in front of his home in Beaverton each year. Richard was preceded in death by his brother Lee Ritter and his beloved wife Kathleen A. Clous Ritter in 2024. Richard chose not to have formal services but will be forever laid to rest with his beloved wife on her family farm in Kingsley Michigan where a private memorial will be held at a later date. The family of Audey Lloyd Witt of Durand is deeply saddened to announce his passing on May 12 2026 at the young age of 72. Audey was born in Flint on July 15 1953 to Wayne and Donna Shepard Witt. He graduated from Ainsworth High in 1971. Shortly thereafter he began his apprenticeship with AC Sparkplug and married his high school sweetheart the love of his life Janet McBride in 1974.
