Terry Lee Hobus

Terry graduated from Homer High School in 1976. He went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Terry enjoyed his work as a diesel mechanic and spent the last couple of years driving semitruck. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved to tell a good story. Terry is survived by his brothers Mark Hobus of Jackson MI and Dennis Hobus of Tulsa OK niece and nephew Emma and Marshall Hobus and many cousins. Services for Terry will be held on October 24 2026 at Caring Community Church 1015 Irwin Ave. Albion MI 49224. Visitation will take place from 1000AM 1100AM with a memorial service to follow at 1100AM. The family would like to invite guests to join them for a luncheon at the church following services. Memorial contributions can be made in Terrys memory to Caring Community Church or Henry Ford Hospice Home.

Hilda Grace Ebbinghaus

Hilda Grace Ebbinghaus age 86 passed away on October 13 2026 at her home under the loving care of her family. Born in Highland Park Michigan on May 4 1940 she was the daughter of Edmond and Helen Warren Kapla. In all the seasons of her life Hilda was known for steady devotion to those she loved a faithful spirit and a quiet resilience that carried her through both joy and hardship with dignity. Hilda married Carl J. Ebbinghaus on September 14 1957 in Detroit Michigan. Carl preceded her in death on November 25 1999. Hilda was also preceded in death by two sons Lee E. Ebbinghaus in 2013 Carl Jay Ebbinghaus in 2018 and nephew Christopher Kapla. Hilda is survived by her son Raymond Teddi Ebbinghaus of Albion her sister Carla Highe of Albion and her brother David Kapla of Melvindale MI. She is also survived by her grandchildren…
