Susan Laura Swies 70 of Penn Township Donnell Lake died unexpectedly October 12 2026 in the comfort of her familys presence. Her life began February 6 1956 in Chicago Illinois the first of three children born to Leon and Grace Sokolinski. Sue married David Swies December 22 1984 in Lansing Illinois. Sue graduated Bowen High School in 1974. She worked many years for Handy Andy and then for Home Depot for twenty years retiring in 2008. Sue loved to travel with Dave enjoying many cruises across the world with her favorite being Italy. Driving to Texas to see her grandchildren was her joy. When at home she invested time in her garden and her cats. Sues past times were reading jigsaw puzzles and computer word games. She was truly happiest being with her family and friends out on Donnell Lake. Sue will be greatly missed by family and friends. She…
