Rosalie Marie Hansen, age 89, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at Country Friends Assisted Living, where she has resided for the last nine years. She was born on August 27, 1936, in Porter Township, Midland County, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Edwards) Risley.Rosalie worked for many years as a caregiver for home health patients. She also spent time working as a foster grandma for Farwell schools. Rosalie attended Gilmore Church of Christ.She was a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed playing Bingo and making crafts. Marcella Irene Smith, aged 87, passed away on March 25, 2026, at Arbor Grove Assisted Living in Alma. Marcy was a lifelong resident of Sumner, Michigan where she was born on April 10, 1938, to Earl and Daisy (Miller) Wood.She graduated from Crystal High School in 1957 and married William (Bill) Smith on May 3, 1959.Marcy was known for her flowers. At one point she had a collection of about 70 orchids in her home and always had to have large tubs of pink petunias every summer. She also loved all kinds of animals, whether it was the pet fox she had as a girl, or her goats, or cherished pug dogs. She even enjoyed feeding the possums that frequented the porch. Larry Paul Mellet, age 79, of St. Louis, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.Larry was born June 30, 1946, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Michael and Kathleen (Kenny) Mellet. He graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1964. He joined the US Air Force and was honorably discharged after his service. Larry married Carrie Anderson. Larry was a member of the Nativity of the Lord Parish in Alma.
