Jay Graham was born on March 11 1942 in Ionia MI to William and Beatrice Graham. He was a selfemployed contractor who loved to build and fix things but he mostly just loved to tinker and figure out ways to do things his way. He was a patriotic man that loved his country especially the great outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt especially with his son Dennis. Ishpeming Cristina L. Anderson age 53 longtime area resident passed away on Wednesday March 25 2026 at her home. Cristina was born in Lansing MI on September 27 1972 daughter of William Burnham and Roxanne Hoppes. She grew up in the Portland area and was a graduate of the St. Patrick Catholic School with the class of 1990. Cristina furthered her education at Northern Michigan University where she graduated with a degree in sociology. She married her husband of nearly 21 years on May 21 2005. Cristina worked as a paralegal before deciding to stay home to take care of her family and raise her children. In Cristinas younger years she enjoyed dance while growing up playing basketball and softball in high school she served as coordinator for International Experience where she assisted in matching foreign exchange students with homes.
