He was born in Pulaski township in Michigan on 62234 the son of Emery and Eva Cooper Brail. He graduated from Concord High School and retired from Clark Equipment after 30 years of service. Clarence was a loving husband to Lois Coxon for 57 years and together they attended Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed being outside reading cooking listening to music and the study of the Bible. Clarence was an animal lover and enjoyed being involved in his childrens numerous 4H animal projects. He found comfort in the company of his beloved dog Mickey. Clarence and Lois have 4 children Jeffrey Lust of Morrisville AZ Randy Cooper of Concord MI Becky Gorzen Mike Gorzen of Livonia MI Joseph Cooper Susan Cooper of Nantucket MA. Dean Edward Welter Age 88 of Spring Arbor passed away on March 28 2026. He was born on September 17 1937 in Coldwater Michigan. Dean was a graduate of Hanover High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. He later worked for many years at the Southern Michigan Prison as a Corrections Officer before retiring. In his retirement he spent time traveling across the United States delivering motor homes and enjoyed seeing much of the country along the way. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Janet Thompson Welter his children Michael Tanna Welter Timothy Angel Welter Lisa Hayworth and Thomas Diana Welter his stepchildren Tina Deck Mike Rentchler Jana Powell and Robert Julie Bartell 15 grandchildren 14 greatgrandchildren and 3 greatgreatgrandchildren.
