Ian will be remembered as a freespirited person who lived life on his own terms. He enjoyed cooking reading and walking his dog Duke. He loved his family and marched to his own drum. He is survived by his father and stepmother Rick Anne Taylor Nichols his mother Mari Nichols siblings Claire Justin Mullins and Megan Fletcher nieces Cora and Isla and nephew Evan. A Celebration of his Life will be held on July 11 2026 at 1100am at the Infinite Light Center 1805 East Ganson Street Jackson Michigan with food and fellowship following. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ians honor can be made to Country Gardens Veterinary Clinic Boarding 2310 Brooklyn Road Jackson Michigan 49203.

Harry Abner Frank Canning Jr. Hairbone age 69 of Jackson MI passed away on July 1 2026. Harry graduated from Jackson High School and continued his education at Jackson College where he earned an associate degree. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. Following his military service Harry worked as a corrections officer for the State of Michigan for 26 years. From 2006 to 2010 Harry volunteered for the Jackson High hockey team. He was a loving father and grandfather and the biggest fan of his grandchildrens sporting events. Harry is survived by his wife of 44 years Cherri Lynn Clark his children Alisha Drew Gwinn Brian Melissa Canning his grandchildren Max Cooper Remington and Riley his brothers Frank Barbara and John his sister Linn and his nephew Michael. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday July 8 2026 at 1230pm at Watson Funeral Chapel…
