Arlene Hendricks age 88 of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Wednesday July 1 2026. Arlene enjoyed attending concerts and listening to a wide variety of music especially the Statler Brothers. She was a devoted christian and was in the choir at 8th Reformed church. She enjoyed traveling throughout Michigan especially to the Upper Peninsula. Arlene also had a passion for baking and was well known for her delicious pies and cookies with her apple pie being a family favorite. For family gatherings she would make her Seven Layer Salad. She was preceded in death by her husband John Hendricks son Bruce Hendricks brother Willard VanHouten.
