RufliDied August 09, 2026Traverse City – Barbara Ann Rufli, 90, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 9, 2026 at her home at Boardman Lake Glens.Barbara was born on May 26, 1935, in Trenton the daughter of Cameron and Marguerite (Franklin) Waldorf. She grew up in Trenton, Michigan, where she graduated from Slocum-Truax High School. After high school, Barbara worked at A&W.From a young age, Barbara spent summers in the Leelanau area, where she fell in love with the beauty and peacefulness of Northern Michigan. It was a place that would remain close to her heart throughout her life.Barbara later met the love of her life, Jim, and on October 5, 1959 in Trenton they were married. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories. In 1990, Barbara and Jim retired to Omena, making Northern Michigan their home. In her later years…
