Norma May Hanna (LaVasser), 91, of Alpena, Michigan, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.Born on May 19, 1935, Norma was the daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Dubey) LaVasser. On April 19, 1952, she married Robert F. Hanna, who preceded her in death on September 10, 2006. Norma was a woman of profound Christian faith, she dedicated her life to serving God, her family, and her church community. Her life was a living testament to her beliefs, defined by her grace, kindness, and unwavering servant's heart.Norma was a deeply cherished mother and grandmother whose warmth, prayers, and unconditional love shaped the generations after her. Robert ‘Bob” William Gibbons, 76, of Alpena passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at his home.Robert was born in Alpena on February 24, 1950, to the late Robert and Thelma (Piper). Robert cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren. His love for his family was a treasured part of who he was, and the time spent with his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tending to his garden. His time with family and his favorite outdoor activities brought him great joy.
