Pat met her husband Walter "Terry" Smith while working at Vick Manufacturing and he remained the love of her life. Above all she loved God and her church and for more than 25 years she was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Rochester. She gave generously of her time and money to missions and her church family. She taught Sunday school for many years and led the Awana Sparks and Cubbies programs at two churches shaping the faith of countless young children. Mark McCoy, age 65, of Pontiac, Mich passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. He died peacefully after a long struggle with graft-versus-host disease. In 2013, Mark underwent a bone marrow transplant as treatment for leukemia.Mark was born November 3, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to the late Ann Bogard and Merle McCoy (surviving wife Jan McCoy). He was principal of St. Joseph School in Lake Orion Michigan and was a teacher and Math and Language Arts specialist in numerous districts in Macomb and Oakland counties Michigan. He was a graduate of University of Detroit Jesuit High School and undergraduate masters and Ph.D. graduate of Oakland University.
