Robert "Rob" Thomas Veld 52 of Shelby passed away unexpectedly Saturday March 28 2026. He was born February 11 1974 in Shelby the son of Thomas Veld and Carol VanderSluys. Rob was a Journeyman Electrician and lived throughout the country working his trade. However his heart never strayed from Oceana County. Rob was born into a large family of five siblings but in his heart his family extended to his many childhood lifelong friends. Rob had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand.
