Peter Reiffer Jr. age 83 of Spring Lake passed into the presence of his Heavenly Father the morning of Sunday August 16 2026. He was born on January 2 1943 in East Grand Rapids MI to the late Peter and Sally De Jager Reiffer Sr. Pete graduated from South Christian High School and received his associates degree from Davenport College. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army Reserves from 1961 to 1968. He married Susan Van Valkenburg on November 18 1966 in Grand Rapids. Pete spent his entire career as a bookkeeper at several Chevrolet dealerships in West Michigan and retired from BettenBaker in 2013.
