Robert "Bob" Lee Chaffee age 85 of Robinson Township passed away on Saturday October 10 2026 at MediLodge at the Shore in Grand Haven. Bob was born on December 31 1940 to Earl and Ruby Chaffee in Robinson Township MI. Bob was the tenth of twelve children and was raised in Robinson Township. Bob married Elizabeth "Liz" Rupinski Belter on July 31 1976 and together they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. He had a love for old country music and baseball playing in the city baseball league for several years. A salesman at heart Bob began his career at Cooks Hardware before going on to sell insurance for the Oom Agency in Grand Haven. He was born on May 7 1940 in Port Sheldon Township MI to the late Henry and Harriet Douma Bakker. Terry married Beverly Kieft on September 1 1961 in Grand Haven. Terry graduated from Grand Haven High School Class of 1957. He was a former member of Hope Church and former member of the Grand Haven Rod Gun Club. He worked as a pattern maker for most of his career and was a member of The Muskegon Patternmakers group. Terry was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing and he traveled all over the world including multiple cruises to Alaska.
