Speer, Frederick "Fred" - of Birch Run, age 70, passed away Monday, October 12, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.Fred married Darlene Davis on June 1, 1996, and together they shared many wonderful memories. He proudly worked as a truck driver for over 30 years, hauling gravel trains, most recently for Bourdows. Fred loved the simple things in life, especially riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Known for his playful spirit and love of a good prank, Fred earned the unforgettable nickname “Goatman.” He always knew how to bring a smile or a laugh to those around him. Above all, Fred loved his family and friends. His sense of humor, kind heart, and the memories he leaves behind will be forever cherished. Joyce retired from General Motors with 33 years of service she was a member of Local 659. She was an extremely accomplished seamstress and gardener passing her love of plants and flowers down to her eldest grandson. She loved to refurbish antique furniture, can and crochet. Robert Bohnsack was born in Flint Michigan on November 21 1943 to Fredrick and Evelyn Clark Bohnsack. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1961.
