Gerald Lloyd Blatt age 90 of Brown City passed away peacefully on March 30 2026 after a life marked by faith hard work and devotion to his family and community. He was born on February 24 1936 and from the beginning of his life Gerald carried the steady character and humble spirit that would come to define him. He was the beloved husband of Janice Blatt and a devoted father to Jerry Carmen Blatt and Dawn Jeff Basch. He was a proud grandfather to Nicole Austin Nathan Jackie Charis Andrew Chandler Hailey Collin and Christopher Jen. He also cherished his greatgrandchildren Oliver Tripp and Harper who brought him great joy. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Murray and Myrtle Blatt.
