Fair Winds and Following Seas for Steven Grant Cooper 84 of Port Huron Michigan who passed away peacefully on October 11 2026 at the Blue Water Hospice Home. His love of life undying optimism huge grin and touch of mischief in the corner of his eye were with him until the end. His last day was spent surrounded by family and sailing mates celebrating their true friendship with Super Cooper. Steve was born January 25 1942 in Detroit to the late Lee and Marilyn Winter Cooper. He grew up in Detroit while spending summers in Lakeport at the family cottage where he later raised his own family. He built a successful stainlesssteel business High Seas supplying the marine industry and joining his career to his passion for boating and the water. He married Diane Miller on August 26 1978 and together they raised three children Lindsay Steven and Eric. Later…
