Dorothy Jean Bowerman age 88 of Saginaw Michigan passed away peacefully on March 31 surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on May 6 1937 to Agnes and Louis Sapak. She married the love of her life Eugene Bowerman on December 1 1956. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family above all else. She had a deep love for people and found great joy in caring for others whether family or friends. Her warm and welcoming spirit drew others to her and she treasured the many friendships she built throughout her life. She especially loved cooking and baking often bringing people together around her table. Dorothy also enjoyed shopping and was an active member of her Red Hat group where she shared laughter and companionship with dear friends. Her strong Catholic faith was a guiding force in her life and a source of comfort and strength.…

Bonnie Harris

Bonnie E. Harris age 85 of Lake City passed away March 31 2026 at her home under Hospice care and with family by her side. Bonnie was born in Pioneer Township of Missaukee County on March 25 1941 to Jesse and Evelyn Kerns Hornbaker. She was a 1959 graduate of Lake City High School and performed baton twirling as a drum majorette with the band. Bonnie married James R. Nixon in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She married Bernard Bud Harris in 2000 and he preceded her in death in 2020. Bonnie was an incredibly kind and loving woman. She always had a compliment for anyone she met. Her family was her absolute greatest joy. Her favorite thing about the big house she lived in was all of the room she had for all of her family to come and stay. She really was the cornerstone…
