Peter was born in Fergus Falls Minnesota on August 14 1933 and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1951 and North Dakota Agricultural College now North Dakota State University in 1959 with an Electrical Engineering degree. He interrupted his college years by joining the Air Force in the summer of 1954 until his Honorable Discharge in 1957. Peter married Alice Ann Rogde on June 17 1959 in Wahpeton North Dakota. Shortly thereafter they moved to Minneapolis Minnesota so Peter could join Honeywell where he spent his entire career. There he used his engineering skills designing avionics test systems. Alice passed away November 22 1989 after 30 years of marriage. Peter is survived by their three children Tim Nancy and Mark Connie his six grandchildren Ron Abbie Spencer Ian Christian Grace and Owen and one great grandchild Lincoln born the Friday before his death.
