Ian Zimmerman, 43 of Park Rapids, MN, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2026. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family, joyful and thoughtful character, and the many humorous antics he shared with family and friends.Ian, the son of Delore and Sonia (Breitling) Zimmerman, entered the world on August 19, 1982, in State College, Pennsylvania. Raised in Grand Forks, he graduated from Central High School in 2001, where he served as student manager of the football team. Ian was active in the Boy Scouts and proudly earned membership in the Order of the Arrow. He was a champion bowler in the Grand Forks Youth League.
