Peter Thomas Thiry 62 of Cambridge MN passed away peacefully at his home on May 12 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Pete was born to Richard and Sonja Thiry on June 28 1963 in Rush City. He grew up on a farm outside of Isanti Minnesota where he had lotsof space to explore and play with his brothers and sisters. Pete graduated from Cambridge High School in 1981. During his high school years he played footballwrestled and was involved in many activities. It was also during this time that he met his high school sweetheart Julie Ranum and they were married in 1983. They raised their family at their home west of Cambridge where their sons wereable to enjoy nature and explore with him. Pete was adventurous friendly and an eternal optimist. Declan Hayes Prill also known as DeClan Deckerlan Spud Little Man D and Mommas Boy. Declan was born at 33 weeks 5 days at St. Johns on November 12 2025. Declan met Jesus on May 11th 2026. Declan wasnt just a light but a beacon to all that have come in contact with him. Declan is known for his overly contagious smile and his personality. Declan is loved by not many but all who came in contact with him. Declan spent almost every day outside doing something whether it be Checking trail cams watching mom with the horses petting the horses himself watching other kids play witnessing the animals run and during all of that He was either laughing or smiling.
