Anna Mae Miedema formerly of Ogilvie and Mora passed away peacefully on Monday August 10 2026 at the Elim Home in Milaca. She was 96 years old. Anna Mae was born on September 3 1929 in Inwood Iowa to Martin and Berendina Kooistra Vander Plaats. In 1943 the family moved to a farm Northwest of Sanborn Iowa where they farmed for 2 years before moving to Ogilvie MN where they farmed. The family attended the Ogilvie Christian Reformed Church CRC in Ogilvie where Anna Mae met William Willie Miedema. They were married on January 26 1949. They built a new home and farmed with Willies Dad for several years. They were blessed with 6 children Bernard Michael Jerry Curtis Ronald and Brenda. They loved farming and felt it was a great place to raise their children. They bought the farm from Willies parents and farmed there until 1993. After leaving…

Eddie Mariner

Eddie George Mariner of Mora passed away surrounded by family at his home on Thursday August 6 2026. He was 46 years old. Eddie was born in California in April 1980. He spent his early childhood in Samoa before returning to the States at the age of 10. After completing high school Eddie worked various jobs and wherever he went was wellliked by those around him. He had a natural way of making people feel welcome and formed friendships that remained strong throughout his life. In 2012 Eddie began working with the IBEW. During that time he met Erin Leaver the woman who would become his wife and the love of his life. They were married on May 27 2016 and together had three children. Carol Ferrier

Carol Jean Ferrier of Clear Lake passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 5 2026 at the Park View Care Center in Buffalo. She was 93 years old. On August 2 1933 Carol along with her twin brother Gerald were born at their grandparents home in Maine Prairie Minnesota to parents Martin Sr. and Alvina Longwell Ferrier. Early childhood was spent in Fort Thompson South Dakota and Waite Park Minnesota. Carol graduated from Princeton High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Delmore Anderson in 1953 and the couple later divorced in 1975. Carol worked for the Bloomington School System as an administrative assistant for 30 years. She retired in 1995 and moved to Clear Lake Minnesota where she spent her final years. Carol was preceded in death by her parents sons Steven Anderson and Christopher Anderson brothers Wayne Gerald Donald Martin Jr. and Larry Ferrier sistersinlaw Marlys Larson…
