Doris Carol Anderson, born July 29, 1934, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 22, 2026.Doris was born in rural South Dakota to Herbert and Inez Larson. She lived a life centered on family, faith, and the quiet joys of summers spent together. She met Ralph Anderson during a trip to Canada, and the two were married on September 3, 1955. Doris graduated as a Registered Nurse from Sioux Valley Nursing School. Doris and Ralph settled in International Falls where they raised their four sons, made lasting friendships, and remained deeply involved at First Lutheran Church. Professionally, Doris worked as a nurse in doctor offices, the Littlefork Hospital, and the last half of her career as a Koochiching County Public Health Nurse.
