Vivian Hazel Johnson Hanson age 92 of Ada Minnesota passed away peacefully on Monday March 30 2026 at Essentia Health in Fargo North Dakota following an unexpected illness. Vivian was born on January 21 1934 on the family farm near Ada Minnesota in Norman County where she grew up and went to school in Twin Valley Minnesota. She was the youngest of six children born to George and Josephine Pederson Johnson. Vivian worked on the family farm and also cleaned for area families. Vivian met her husband Glen Hanson and they were united in marriage on September 10 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church in Twin Valley. They established a life in Ada where they raised three children and in 1957 her husband built their home. Vivian worked in area restaurants when they were first married.
