Wayne Skillings age 70 of Long Prairie passed away on Saturday October 10 2026 at St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by family. A memorial service will take place on Thursday October 15 2026 at 1100 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place later that day at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Long Prairie. Wayne Ernest Skillings was born on October 13 1955 the son of Ernest and Mavis Maland Skillings of Bertha Minnesota. Wayne graduated from Bertha High School. Somewhere along the way a longtime friend gave him the nickname Smurf and it stuck for the rest of his life. Wayne was previously married and although that marriage ended he was blessed with two children Richard and Christopher. Barb Rowe 83 year old of Browerville passed away on Saturday October 10 2026 at her home surrounded by her family under the care of Moments Hospice. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday October 14 2026 at 1100 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie. Visitation will take place on Tuesday October 13 2026 from 400 PM to 700 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church and will continue at the church on the day of the funeral one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place later that day at the St. Matthews Lutheran Cemetery in rural Clarissa. Barb was born on December 24 1942 to Florian and Lillian Ruthenbeck Henrich of Heron Lake Minnesota.
