Randy Meurer, age 63 of Wabasha, MN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Emplify – Gundersen Medical Center, Wabasha, MN. He was born on August 12, 1962, the son of Roger and Gloria (Gosse) Meurer. He attended Wabasha-Kellogg School, and after school he went into the trade business. He worked at various places throughout his lifetime. Starting out pouring concrete, moving into waterproofing basements with American Waterworks, and then landing on setting tile as his final expertise. He worked for Carpet One and Hiller’s out of Rochester before starting his own business of “Randy’s Tile.”Randy married Carol Ostrom on May 18, 1984, in Shakopee, MN. They were married for 28 years until the passing of Carol in August of 2012. Together they had two children, Casey and Matthew.
