Peter Windey 86 of Cottage Grove. Born August 11 1940 to the late Nellie Jennen and Henry Windey in Minneota Minnesota. He graduated from Hanley Falls High School in 1958 and then attended the University of Minnesota and studied Engineering. He worked for 3M for 35 years in various divisions retiring in 1992. He had the opportunity to move with 3M to Austin Texas where he and Sharon lived for five years. On August 15 1959 Peter was united in marriage to Sharon Knutson at the Cana Chapel in the Cathedral of St. Paul. Over the years their marriage would be blessed by the births of their three children. His number one priority was his family. He loved camping and boating with his family on Lake Superior. After retiring Peter and Sharon enjoyed domestic and international travel.
