Betty Lou Tvedt age 87 died Tuesday August 11 2026 at CURA Care Center in Monticello. She was born April 24 1939 in Fergus Falls to Edwin and Evelyn Ruehmann Olson. She grew up in Fergus Falls where she graduated from high school. On May 3 1959 she married Kenneth Tvedt in Fergus Falls. She worked at K B Bakery in Monticello which she coowned with her husband. She helped with the front counter cake decorating and bookkeeping while raising their two sons. Throughout her life she held various positions as a seamstress both in retail shops as well as many years from her home. Betty Lou was a member of Becker Baptist Church in Becker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends bible study crocheting and sewing. James Beryl Hayes was born on November 25 1940 in Monticello Minnesota to Beryl and Wilma Smith Hayes. He died Thursday August 13 2026 at home peacefully in rural Maple Lake Minnesota at the age of 85 years 8 months and 19 days. Jim met the love of his life Delores Rotsolk while hauling milk he said she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. They were married on August 10 1963 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor G.C. Mack officiating. They lived at their home in rural Maple Lake where they raised their sons Mark and David. Jim was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Silver Creek he was affirmed in his faith on March 31 1963.
