On a glorious Lord’s day, October 11, 2026, Norma Catherine Riley Ferrill  (88) was welcomed in to her Savior’s arms.The oldest of six children, Norma was born in Duck Hill, Mississippi, to Curtis and Jewel Riley. After graduating from Binford High School, she studied at USM and Holmes Community College before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from The University of Mississippi with additional coursework at both the Mississippi and Louisiana Schools of Banking. Norma was passionate about serving her Lord through teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and participating in Bible Study classes. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Madison and in Grenada.She enjoyed serving the Grenada community in many local organizations and held leadership positions in Grenada Higher Education (Distinguished Alumnus), American Cancer Association, American Heart Association, and Grenada Garden Club. Malcolm Ray Sistrunk

Malcolm Ray Sistrunk best known to family and friends as Mack passed away peacefully at home on October 9 2026 at the age of 95 surrounded by his loving family. He was a deeply devoted husband father grandfather and greatgrandfather whose love and guidance will be forever cherished. Mack was born on April 5 1931 in Sebastopol Mississippi. Later he made his home in Jackson Mississippi for many years. He was a member of Briarwood Drive Baptist Church and later in life First Baptist Church of Madison. Mack served his country proudly as a sergeant of the United States Army. He was a devoted member of the Jackson Fire Department where he served the citizens of the city of Jackson for over 30 years and retired as Captain of stations 17 and 19.
