Gracie Mae Ratcliff, age 90, left her earthly home and entered into the loving arms of her Savior, where pain is no more and peace is everlasting. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment. She treasured every moment spent with them. Her love was steady, unconditional, and deeply rooted in faith. She enjoyed working in her yard, and loved planting flowers and gardening. Her garden was a reflection of her spirit, vibrant and full of beauty. Her faith was her foundation, guiding her life and strengthening all who knew her. Cory Gavin, 48, of Seminary, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 in Bay St. Louis. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 12 p.m.Mr. Gavin was a simple man with a wide range of skills and a strong work ethic. He was an arborist who owned and operated his own tree service in Phenix City, Alabama. Prior to that, he worked in the construction industry, where he took part in building condominiums, houses, and other projects.In his spare time, Cory enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
