Her love was steady, unconditional, and deeply rooted in faith. She enjoyed working in her yard, and loved planting flowers and gardening. Her garden was a reflection of her spirit, vibrant and full of beauty. Her faith was her foundation, guiding her life and strengthening all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 12 p.m.Mr. Gavin was a simple man with a wide range of skills and a strong work ethic. He was an arborist who owned and operated his own tree service in Phenix City, Alabama.
