Born on February 29, 1968, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Donnie always joked that being a Leap Year baby made him extra special. Anyone who knew him would agree that he truly was.A 1986 graduate of Forrest County Agricultural High School, Donnie was a man deeply rooted in the land and community he loved. He lived and worked on his home place in Dixie his entire life, where he found joy in the simple and meaningful things: his family, friends, raising cattle, cutting hay, mending fences, and spending time outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding horses, team roping and showing livestock. He continued to embrace the cowboy way of life wholeheartedly. Auldon “Mutt” Doyle Morrow, Jr, 68, of Purvis passed away on May 15, 2026 at Forrest General Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Pine Grove Baptist Church at 3 P.M.Mr. Morrow was a proud follower of Jesus Christ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his retirement he loved spending time with his daughter Kristy. They enjoyed traveling, going thrifting, and going to ball games together. He loved his family, and was most proud of being called Pawpaw.He was preceded in death by his parents, Auldon Doyle Morrow, Sr. and Jeanette Morrow.He is survived by his wife, Debbie Morrow of Purvis; his daughter, Kristy Roseberry (Burt) of Purvis; his son, Todd Morrow of Purvis; six grandchildren, Graham, Gabby, Chris, Sophie, Emma, and Rhett; his sister, Patricia Grantham of Sumrall; his brother, Danny Morrow of Purvis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
