Raymond Richard Stewart, 81, of Petal, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Stewart Family Cemetery.Mr. Stewart was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith and was a self-employed master carpenter for many years. Known for his strong work ethic and remarkable craftsmanship, he took great pride in working with his hands. A talented woodworker, he possessed an exceptional ability to build, repair, and create just about anything. Family and friends often relied on his knowledge and skills, knowing there was little he could not fix.In his younger years, Mr. Stewart enjoyed hunting and fishing, and throughout his life he found happiness in the outdoors. He enjoyed caring for his property, working in the yard, and spending time on the land he loved. His dedication, resourcefulness, and appreciation for simple pleasures will be remembered by all who knew him.He…
