Joseph (Joe) Alan Garrett April 6, 1949 – May 15, 2026Joseph (Joe) Alan Garrett, 77, was reunited with family in Heaven on May 15, 2026, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He spent his final days lovingly surrounded by his family.Joe was born on April 6, 1949, to Kelly and Elizabeth (Gee Gee) Garrett in Monett, Missouri. He was the fourth of five children, his older brothers, Mike, John, and Paul, and his younger sister, Betsy. After the early passing of their father, the Garrett children were raised with great love and devotion by their mother. Joe's childhood was full of adventure and lasting memories shared with his siblings and the neighborhood pals.A 1967 graduate of Monett High School, Joe went on to earn a degree in Secondary Education from Missouri Southern State University. Orville Alvin Meyer left this earthly life for his heavenly home on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born in rural Verona, Missouri, on December 17, 1934, to Alvin and Emma (Bauer) Meyer.He married Doris Langer on a Sunday morning immediately after the Trinity Lutheran Church service in Freistatt, Missouri, on November 11, 1956. They most recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with 2 daughters, Bryanna Martin of Godfrey, Illinois, and Michele (Brian) Tate of Frisco, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Christie) Martin, Milissa Martin, Jonathan Tate, and Brittany Tate; 3 great-grandchildren, Alivia, Amelia, and Blake; AFS daughter, Susanne Yde of Copenhagen, Denmark, and her 2 children.
