Carl L. Barker, 89, of Monett, MO, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.Carl was born on April 22, 1937, in McDougal, AR, the son of the late Paul and Ruby (Warbritten) Barker. He attended school in Arkansas and St. Louis, MO. Carl was raised on a farm where he picked cotton. He raised his family in St. Louis, where he was employed as a supervisor with Alvey Conveyors for forty years. He moved to Cassville in 1982 where he opened Alvey Conveyor. He later worked for Barry County Assessor Office as a field representative for ten years. Carl was a member of New Site Baptist Church.On December 2, 1954, Carl and Shirley Battle were united in marriage. To this union, five children were born. Carl married Mary Jane Hudson in 1987.
