Gary Dean Hardy 71 of Sikeston passed away on Sunday March 29 2026 at St. Louis University. He was born on March 31 1954 to the late James Donald Hardy and Violet Margaret Hinkle Hardy in Rockford Ill. Gary Hardy and Margaret Freeman were united in marriage on April 4 1986. Celebrating just a few days short of 40 years of marriage they spent a great amount of their time together. They loved to spend time at the lake and camping. You could often find them fishing together or simply riding around. Gary and Margaret loved to garden together. Gary had a deep love for fishing and spending time on the water. Mr. Hardy was devoted in his careers. He worked for National Lock for over 20 years before the company relocated.
