James "Jim" Mabe

James Jim Allen Mabe of Steelville Missouri passed away on Friday April 3 2026 in Rolla at the age of 66 years 6 months and 8 days. He was born September 26 1959 in Steelville Missouri to Richard L. Mabe Sr. and Marie Jane Lancaster Mabe. Jim was a carpenter building trade homes in St. Louis for several years and around Crawford County. He also did local logging farming and sawmill work. In his free time Jim enjoyed fishing and hunting deer and turkey. Most of all he loved being near all of his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Marie Mabe son Jeremy Mabe brothers William Bill Mabe Danny Mabe Richard Mabe Jr. and Thomas Mabe and sister Julie Young.
