Daniel Joe Friar, 72, of Nevada, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026.He was born to Joseph R. Friar and Arvella Jean Ellerman Friar and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1971.Dan was united in marriage to Judy Ann Coleman on June 28, 1975, and later to Judy J. Lessman on November 21, 1982.A man who believed in hard work and staying busy, Dan built a life through many roles over the years. He worked at the El Dorado Springs Shoe Factory, O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar, Nevada Fram, and the Walmart Distribution Center in Harrisonville. Later, he continued doing what he did best—working with his hands—through home renovations and repair in Nevada.Dan knew how to enjoy life.
