Leona M. Wellenkamp98 of Washington passed away on March 27 2026. Mrs. Wellenkamp daughter of the late Ben Schaefer and Ida nee Tielman was born on April 28 1927 in Washington. She received her education from St. Vincents School in Dutzow. On October 25 1947 she was united in marriage to Ed Wellenkamp at St. Vincents Parish in Dutzow. Leona loved needlework and found great joy in creating beautiful quilts from a variety of fabrics. Her creativity and attention to detail were evident in every piece she crafted making her quilts cherished treasures among family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents husband Ed Wellenkamp four siblings Martha Michel Hilda Hennecke Andrew Schaefer Tony Schaefer and daughterinlaw Linda Wellenkamp. Brayden Straatmann, 18, of Villa Ridge, MO passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026.He is survived by his father, Brennen Straatmann of Villa Ridge; five siblings: Hannah Straatmann of Villa Ridge, Meghan Knight and husband Kyle of New Haven, Myia Fuse and husband Jacob of Union, Mariah Kluesner of Washington, and Logan Kluesner of New Haven; his grandmother, Nicole Straatmann of Villa Ridge; aunts and uncles: Jamie Heine and husband Jasen of Marthasville, Amanda Straatmann of Washington, Kyle Straatmann of Villa Ridge, and Brianna Hall and husband Justin of Union; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 10, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Gildehaus Catholic Church in Villa Ridge, MO with Rev. Klein, 84, of Washington, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026.She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Crimin; mother, Margaret Crimin (nee' St. Germaine); son, Michael Klein; grandson, Daniel Robert Klein; and three brothers, Fred Crimin, Raymond Crimin, Wayne Crimin.Diane is survived by her husband, Robert Klein; son, Robert Klein Jr.; great-grandchild, Ivy Klein; and many other family members and friends.Visitation for 84-year-old Diane Klein will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, Missouri.
