John "Butch" Goodwin 63 of Berger MO passed away Thursday May 14 2026 at Mercy Hospital Washington Missouri. He was the husband of Patricia Prior Goodwin. They were united in marriage on October 19 2007 in Hermann Missouri. John was a carpenter for many years. After retiring from carpentry he helped in the Union School District as a school bus monitor He found great joy helping early childhood children and making a difference in their lives. He loved riding his Harley hunting fishing and relaxing by the pool with friends and family. He loved talking and laughing and sharing stories playing darts and cornhole in his bar. He will be remembered as someone who knew no strangers. Roland Harold Walkenhorst 73 of New Haven MO passed away Wednesday May 13 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. Roland was born in St. Louis Missouri on October 24 1952 the son of the late Harold O. Eileen K. Brune Walkenhorst. He was the husband of Denise Wise Walkenhorst. They were united in marriage on May 20 1989 at Hope Lutheran Church St. Ann Missouri. Together they shared almost 37 years of marriage. Roland was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church Port Hudson. He worked for the St. Louis PostDispatch for many years until he started his CNC machining business in New Haven in 1990 AccuCraft. Roland participated in kart racing at various tracks around the country such as Road America and MidOhio. Earlene passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on May 15th 2026. She was born July 17th 1940 in Mallett Town Arkansas a small community named after the Mallett family who founded it. She was born to parents Elmer Harrison Mallett and Mildred Bizzell Mallett. Earlene attended and graduated from Risco High School where she excelled in the sports of volleyball and softball. After graduation she was employed approximately 12 years as a supervisor of medical records transcribers for a medical clinic in St. Louis MO. She also attended night classes at Hickeys Business School in Clayton MO. Earlene and her family moved to Hermann in the early 70s where she owned and operated See Tal Inn Restaurant for several years.
