Bertie Fae Westermann 74 of Owensville Mo. passed away Thursday July 2 2026 at Stonebridge of Owensville. Bertie loved to sew. She was often in her sewing room making repairs to pants of neighboring farmers or helping young ladies with fitting and adjusting their prom dresses. Bertie also was a great cook. She was well known throughout the Woollam community for her delicious pies casseroles homemade rolls and so much more. Spending time with her kids and grandkids was her greatest passion. She also enjoyed researching ancestry and arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband Richard of their home son Darrin Westermann with wife Lisa of Olathe Co. and daughter Amy Merrill with James of Sand Springs Okla and grandchildren Cameron Westermann Tanner Westermann Alexandra Hubbard and Amelia Hubbard. Melvin Francis Worley 91 of New Florence MO passed away Thursday July 2nd 2026 at his residence. Melvin was born in New Florence Missouri on February 21 1935 a son of the late Margaret Pearle Moore and Samuel Francis Worley. Melvin proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic at International Harvestor Diesel Truck which later became Gateway International he worked for the combined companies for over 30 years.After retiring from Gateway International he went to work at StiegmanWells Pump Service and Supply and worked there several years. He was the husband of Dorothy Alene nee Moseley Worley they were married on May 19th 1956 at St. Peters Church St. Charles MO.
