Mary Griffin an 85 year old former Trenton resident passed away at 600 p.m. Wednesday May 6 2026 at Cameron Regional Hospital in Cameron MO. She is to be cremated under the direction of Slater Neal Funeral Home with no services scheduled at this time. Mary Irene Griffin was born March 31 1941 in Braden OK to Walter F. and Ethel Mae Rasey Reeves. She was a member the Church of the Nazarene. Over the last few years she has enjoyed life in the nursing home and was heavily involved with activities. Surviving relatives include her daughters Sonya McCulley of Trenton and Michelle Griffin of Trenton sons Mark Wood and wife Heidi of Omaha NE and George Griffin Jr. of North Charleston SC a sister Phyllis Schwartz of FL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother and a sister.

Ross Lame

A life full of perseverance defying the odds. Ross Allen Lame took his final breath in his home on Saturday May 16th 2026 surrounded by his loving parents. Ross was born December 16 1985 and was diagnosed with Spina Bifida. At the time our family had no idea what that meant or what to expect. The Drs gave him a lofty goal of two years and prepared Richard and Leann for an indefinite heartbreak. God has a thing about paving everyones path for his glory. The Lord used Richard and Leann as a vessel to raise and care for him for 40 years. 40 years of surgeries hospitals blood tests but also 40 years of patience sacrifice devotion and love.
