Pearl was born April 11 1939 in Eudora Arkansas to the union of J. Dewey and Martha Brown Higgins. She was raised in a large and loving family where she learned the values received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior early in life and was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Fellowship Baptist Church both of Kansas City Mo. Through the years her faith in God was an increasingly important part of her life. She grew up on the family farm in Eudora Arkansas. She married and started a family at a young age. She later moved to Peoria Illinois then Kansas City Kansas before settling in Kansas City Missouri where she resided until 2018 when she relocated to Griffin Georgia.
